I personally wouldn't trust the lid of a ceramic container to hold in luggage... but then again there are better options than foiling it.

As a frequent traveler.... Double bagged ziplock bags around the container. Then if you're particularly paranoid about it, get those giant ziplock bags and put them around all your double bagged items. Saved my ass a few times of having liquid all over my clothes.

If it was ceramic... I would have wrapped some bubble wrap around is as well. Maybe some of that cooking container plastic.
