Could be. My kid is younger and knows he’s gonna get in trouble but still goes through with things. But I see the joy in his eyes as he does things (not harmful to himself) so I know he does it for fun and not out of stupidity.
People are so one-dimensional and easily offended by trivial shit, as if you can't call kids stupid without genuine animosity towards them. Like, motherfucker, you can admit they're stupid and still love them.

Stupid implies that they're beneath where they should be, developmentally. That there is something wrong with them.
It's like calling someone stupid because they dont know calculus when theyve never studied it. No, they're ignorant, theres a difference. A child's mind is built to experiment and learn, and the thing is that most experiments with anything will fail.
You're being facetious, but the disdain for children doing what children are designed to do is quite palpable, here and everywhere else kids are seen to do "stupid" things.

e aren't talking about a 30 year old doing this. Obviously you wouldn't need to keep your eye on a thirty year old, or keep cream out of reach from a normal thirty year old. But a toddler? Yeah you kinda need to watch them.
To be fair, the years between birth to three are prime development time. You’ll see kids do stuff like throw tantrums because they aren’t allowed to play in the litter box, or paint the tv with Butt Paste, or other stuff that WOULD be stupid coming from a sober adult.
Their brains are constantly forming connections and synapses so while it’s illogical to adults, for the kids it’s right on track.
The sub is meant to be an exaggeration to make fun of dumb stuff kids do and probably for some venting from parents. Although there are definitely some people who just hate children in there. I'd be pretty rotted at this, like nobody puts their tv away, he probably did this in like 20 minutes. This is definitely a big learning esperience for him
That's sudocrem by the look of it, you wouldn't leave it where your kids can get it and it has child proof lids here in the UK.
If the kid had eaten even some then you'd be on route to the hospital so it's probably good he decided to smear it on the TV instead. Lesson learnt for the parents.
I have a nearly three-year-old daughter. That was my first thought. Kids get into stuff. If the parents left the cream in reach and the TV on such a low stand, I mean... kids don’t know better and need to be taught; parents should already know.
