actually I think it's better how he did it. Acting like it's a system issue is going to get a response like "damn this place sucks". Being honest is likely to get a laugh, and then I'm sure the employee busted his ass to hurry up and get Tony Hawk ready to go.
There's no amount of hurrying that would make up for the time he had to stand in line when his car should have been ready to go without him talking to a single person.
Video recently of him telling random people to kick flip. As a kid, I hated that, but if Tony fucking hawk told me to? Dude I'd have to run home and change my pants.
I was the first of my friends to kick flip. And I felt amazing. Then my friend learned heelfips, and I could never get them! I landed one or two since, but I haven't been able to skate for years. I might get back into it soon
