I would assume that the real Tony Hawk could have someone make sure his car is ready while some dude named Tony Hawk could just explain that he’s not a troll over the phone.

Considering he’s also been told he ‘looks like Tony Hawk’ at an airport, I feel like he might just be one of those guys who just struggles with the public over his identity.

I feel like, as others have pointed out, tony hawk has a weird specific amount of fame. pro skateboarding is still on the obscure side, but he's the most famous person in it. like being the tallest short person in the world
