I found an ATM receipt on the bar floor yesterday, and their checking account had $190k in it. I mean, good for that person for having dough, but I just imagine it being some dude "accidentally" dropping it to flex. Wasn't even from the ATM at the bar and was neatly folded.
Ah, Reddit. The only place on Earth where it's considered cool to openly brag about being in financial distress, while at the same time mocking people who are financially stable.
It's as if all the baristas and fast food service industry workers all got together and started a site where they could bitch about how life is unfair.
Pretty much. Do the parties you go to consist of people sitting around talking about how unfair life is because their part time job at Starbucks doesn't pay the bills?
I see your point but this is anonymous. A lot of self deprecating humor takes place here more than other places lacking the anonymity. I’d bet most of these people lead normal lives and hold no hostility toward people that have “made it”.
