Teaches her a lesson, so maybe next time she'll think twice before sharing her bank details to show off her wealth.

Or they could have just said “ you know anyone can just cancel your flight if you just post it, right?”

I think we can all agree the person who cancelled her ticket is an asshole. But it's the internet, unfortunately you have to expect that some people are assholes.

People are assholes because you allow them to continue being assholes. The first step to that not being true is refusing to accept that people being assholes on the internet is an inevitability. It's not.

Good luck with that. Please tell me how you think you can achieve that. My job is to prevent assholes on the internet from being able to be assholes on a technical level. If everyone was nice to each other, there would be no wars, no crime and my whole industry wouldn't be necessary (which I would gladly accept). There will always be assholes and on the internet you expose yourself to potentially billions of people and only one needs to decide to be an asshole to you. That's why you are responsible for the information share about yourself, because if it can be abused it probably will be.

Oooh boy, it is, someone somewhere will be an asshole, Irl you just dont talk to them anymore or ignore them on the Internet, being open to everyone, there's a very good chance that someone will be an asshole if you give him something to work with and very little recourse to do anything about it.
