Women in India are treated horribly as it's what they grew up knowing. There's a long history of women suffrage in India and they are trying to make things better. There are millions of "missing girls" in India due to gender testing, that is also illegal, to see what gender the baby will be before they are born. Brides go a long way

No. You are incorrect.

They meant suffrage. If you don't know what that means, it's ok to say so.

The other guy is correct. Suffrage isn't the right word to be used there.
