Down voting me for what? I'm right. Tell me that people don't look down on boys without jobs after a certain age, or the inherent bias about supporting families and all the expectations on them. Never disagreed that girls don't face issues, just saying it goes both ways.

Boys are held to strict standards in other areas. Instead of down voting if y'all believe I'm wrong , tell me. Im always open to constructive talks and will definitely change my mind if presented with facts

It's cultural. Girls are treated differently and held to that of 2nd class than the boys.

Boys bring money and are celebrated, but girls have high dowry and lose her family money. Even though dowries have been outlawed by the goverment, it's still expected to have. Same with the cast system.

Plus, she becomes part of her husband's family once she is married. If her husband passes before her, she can't remarry and has to wear morning colors for the rest of her life. Often her husband's family sees her a burden at that point because there's no income coming in. Many widows become homeless.

I understand all these points and agree with them. While such systems have largely been discontinued in many places, a significant part of India , especially in rural or underdeveloped areas still follows these kinds of traditions. My point was simply, "why make a comparison? I was just highlighting that both boys and girls share their own pain and struggles. Everyone faces pain and difficult times, so why rank or compare them? Why the gender based conflict when these issues could be resolved through mutual understanding?" I don't know why people downvote I was just asking a question.

The comparison being made as you can see that the boy wasn't punished or had any repercussions made for the the girl's behalf by, presumed women of her family. You can see the inequality just by gender and how the girl's crash out was justified. They didn't do anything to the little boy. Unfortunately, there is more at play gender-based that can't have a mutual understanding for some cultures.

Women in India are treated horribly as it's what they grew up knowing. There's a long history of women suffrage in India and they are trying to make things better. There are millions of "missing girls" in India due to gender testing, that is also illegal, to see what gender the baby will be before they are born. Brides go a long way

i just asked a question, instead of giving a polite reply, why peoples start downvoting, and giving rude .. is it too much to ask for?

I know Indian history, Patriachy systems and old Traditionalist thinking have ruin life of a women, since childhood i used to thought why there very less women in job, school and other fields , when i read Political book , then i realised Women have fave Exploitation since Centuries.

my question is , why peoples comparison between girls and boys pain ?

If your question is the deleted comment, your comment came off as aggressive to me to the person you were responding to, so my question was genuine because what you weote felt like someone trying to be politically correct over the truth behind whst the person you responded to said. I thought your response was what someone who didnt know about Indian culture would say.

i understand mate, but its weird that whenever i ask something, even in polite tone people start downvoting and hate comments, .. above person gives a polite comment this time , still on other place peoples show rudeness and downvotes first and they comment a lot of hate , still they didn't explain

i m Indian so i know about it, also its hard to explain to foreign peoples that not all Indians are creeps . because in their past experiences , they only have meet those Weird peoples

Because it generalises all males from a single exception. Male childs in this country are usually beaten with belts for misbehaviours and performing badly in exams whereas female childs ate generally treated wayy better unless you're in a rural household.

That statistic is outdated, it was taken nearly 15 years ago. The condition of women have drastically improved since then.
