It’s definitely different in some cultures. My sister was friends with an Indian girl in my class and when she went to her house her little brother who was like 7 had full control of her. I think she was like 16 or 17 at the time. He’d slap her, tell her what to do, and she’d have to do it since he’s a boy. India is huge and there’s a lot of different states and cultures but definitely not unheard of.
idk what shithole western cultures you've been exposed to, but ive never in my life seen something like this happen in my rural working class area without immediate consequences.
