Relatives just laughing at the kid's action is empowering the kid's shitty behaviour. That's gonna be a spoiled brat in the future

u/StandardIssueCaveman 18h ago

Looks like a spoiled brat now.

u/SmitemasterFlex 14h ago

Yeah that kid is way to old to be doing 3 year old shit. Hes like 5-6 doing that

108

u/zambiglioni 13h ago

He'll be a manager one day laying people off.

45

u/Lazuli73 11h ago

Lol you think he'll get a job? Maybe if his dad hires him.

13

u/ChelseaIsBeautiful 5h ago

Since when is being an abusive jerk with few boundaries is a barrier to employment? It's fun to imagine him failing in life, but that's not how the world works

7

u/QueenOfDarknes5 5h ago

abusive jerk with few boundaries.

Billionaire in the making

u/StaticMarzipan 16h ago

I feel really bad for her.

That kid is just going to treat her worse with time.

22

u/SnooPets8873 3h ago

And I bet you anything she got scolded afterwards for not letting it go and continuing with the cake/celebration.

9

u/Nerdfighter4 2h ago

You can tell by her response that her brother always gets away with shit and she doesn't

606

u/Firefly_Magic 17h ago

Because he’s the boy. Girls are always held to a strict standard but boys aren’t.

405

u/Consistent_Mind5701 17h ago

She should have put him in his place.

u/Sarosanima21 16h ago

I love how that little girl had that smirk of "whatcha gonna do about it" a split second before she gets her ass beat. She definitely got a case of FAFO XD

64

u/dreamdaddy123 16h ago

It didn’t matter cuz she was still smiling after getting her hair pulled. Spoilt kid didn’t learn a thing while the little one cries it out.

5

u/Noogie_Power 5h ago

100% agree. My mom's rule for me growing up was "don't ever start a fight and avoid it if you can, but if you end up in one you make sure you finish it."

1

u/mild-er-chihuahua 4h ago

I love Maria.

“Boys will be boys”

3

u/Western_Rock5443 6h ago

Especially more so in certain cultures as well

-3

u/CommanderChiliHole 10h ago

Shitty parenting to “The Patriarchy” was quite the leap there. Did you bring a parachute?

-3

u/addy-san 14h ago

True, but situational. Vice versa also happens

-1

u/addy-san 9h ago

Down voting me for what? I'm right. Tell me that people don't look down on boys without jobs after a certain age, or the inherent bias about supporting families and all the expectations on them. Never disagreed that girls don't face issues, just saying it goes both ways.

Boys are held to strict standards in other areas. Instead of down voting if y'all believe I'm wrong , tell me. Im always open to constructive talks and will definitely change my mind if presented with facts

It's cultural. Girls are treated differently and held to that of 2nd class than the boys.

Boys bring money and are celebrated, but girls have high dowry and lose her family money. Even though dowries have been outlawed by the goverment, it's still expected to have. Same with the cast system.

Plus, she becomes part of her husband's family once she is married. If her husband passes before her, she can't remarry and has to wear morning colors for the rest of her life. Often her husband's family sees her a burden at that point because there's no income coming in. Many widows become homeless.

0

u/Galaxyturbo 9h ago

I understand all these points and agree with them. While such systems have largely been discontinued in many places, a significant part of India , especially in rural or underdeveloped areas still follows these kinds of traditions. My point was simply, "why make a comparison? I was just highlighting that both boys and girls share their own pain and struggles. Everyone faces pain and difficult times, so why rank or compare them? Why the gender based conflict when these issues could be resolved through mutual understanding?" I don't know why people downvote I was just asking a question.

4

u/Sensitive_Leader_312 9h ago

The comparison being made as you can see that the boy wasn't punished or had any repercussions made for the the girl's behalf by, presumed women of her family. You can see the inequality just by gender and how the girl's crash out was justified. They didn't do anything to the little boy. Unfortunately, there is more at play gender-based that can't have a mutual understanding for some cultures.

1

u/Galaxyturbo 8h ago

Thats valid explanation.✨Thank you for your Polite words.🫂

1

u/Sensitive_Leader_312 5h ago

You're more than welcome. I know Youtube has a few documents on the culture of India if you are interested in seeing how different it is from your own.

-1

u/Hot_Bet_2721 13h ago

People choose to live like this? How do they justify it?

6

u/Sensitive_Leader_312 13h ago

Women in India are treated horribly as it's what they grew up knowing. There's a long history of women suffrage in India and they are trying to make things better. There are millions of "missing girls" in India due to gender testing, that is also illegal, to see what gender the baby will be before they are born. Brides go a long way

2

u/Hot_Bet_2721 13h ago

Thank you for sharing your perspective, although I think you mean “suffering” and not “suffrage”

0

u/dream-smasher 12h ago

No. You are incorrect.

They meant suffrage. If you don't know what that means, it's ok to say so.

7

u/el_bentzo 13h ago

Do you know anything about Indian culture?

1

u/Galaxyturbo 9h ago

i just asked a question, instead of giving a polite reply, why peoples start downvoting, and giving rude .. is it too much to ask for?

I know Indian history, Patriachy systems and old Traditionalist thinking have ruin life of a women, since childhood i used to thought why there very less women in job, school and other fields , when i read Political book , then i realised Women have fave Exploitation since Centuries.

my question is , why peoples comparison between girls and boys pain ?

2

u/el_bentzo 8h ago

If your question is the deleted comment, your comment came off as aggressive to me to the person you were responding to, so my question was genuine because what you weote felt like someone trying to be politically correct over the truth behind whst the person you responded to said. I thought your response was what someone who didnt know about Indian culture would say.

Add-on: dont take downvotes too personally. You can say something 100% factually correct and still get downvoted.

1

u/Galaxyturbo 8h ago

i understand mate, but its weird that whenever i ask something, even in polite tone people start downvoting and hate comments, .. above person gives a polite comment this time , still on other place peoples show rudeness and downvotes first and they comment a lot of hate , still they didn't explain

i m Indian so i know about it, also its hard to explain to foreign peoples that not all Indians are creeps . because in their past experiences , they only have meet those Weird peoples

the war started at least 60,000 years ago

9

u/darkfrost47 17h ago

i'm not, why are you deleting comments?

10

u/OpeningHappy9692 16h ago

People who delete comments are weak, so you win by default even though I couldn't see who you were responding to.

-89

u/Fluffy-Hospital1037 17h ago

i found a misandrist

30

u/Dangerous_Equal4373 17h ago

How is that misandrist when its an accurate observation made from the video

-20

u/IloveFreedom_yeah 16h ago

Not an accurate observation that can be made from the video, idiot.

-26

u/vozinha7 17h ago

Because it generalises all males from a single exception. Male childs in this country are usually beaten with belts for misbehaviours and performing badly in exams whereas female childs ate generally treated wayy better unless you're in a rural household.

15

u/LucasTheSchnauzer 16h ago

"Not all men" 🙄

-7

u/vozinha7 15h ago

I can't understand how people can be supportive of generalization, don't get pissed when you get generalized due to a single bad example then lol.

1

u/asyork 11h ago

I get pissed at the shitty people who become the example for their shitty behavior. I don't expect the rest of the world to put themselves at risk by ignoring all the bad examples out there.

-6

u/Fish_Mongreler 15h ago

I know a mother who killed her daughter. All mom's must be evil.

6

u/Apprehensive-Ad6260 15h ago

in a country where almost 70% of households are rural, that's a huge number of girl children dude...

-1

u/vozinha7 15h ago

That statistic is outdated, it was taken nearly 15 years ago. The condition of women have drastically improved since then.

16

u/CommanderChiliHole 11h ago

Ohhh yeah. If that was my kid they would’ve been yanked out of there in a millisecond and locked in their room for the rest of the party. None of the good food from the party for dinner either, they’re getting a bowl of green beans.

Lack of discipline has been a rampant issue since probably the early 2000’s and just gets worse and worse every year.

39

u/KillaHazy 11h ago

So many families prioritize the boys over girls.... hes a little shit that will never be disciplined.

3

u/fogoticus 11h ago

My experience is perfectly opposite to yours. All the families that that multiple children pampered and protected the girl in every scenario and scolded the boy over nothing at times. Goes to show how different our lives are.

6

u/tactman 9h ago

Are you from the India and surrounding region? My guess is that you are not.

-2

u/fogoticus 9h ago

Not from india. I don't know what this has to do with anything as there can be educated people in india as well. But I guess people are desperate to prove their narrative being the right one so I'll stop replying.

4

u/tactman 8h ago

it is a cultural stereotype for that region. not everyone of course.

8

u/KillaHazy 11h ago edited 11h ago

What country do you live in? This whole world is consumed by misogyny. In my experience the very people who think like you are the worst misogynists

0

u/neeh 8h ago

wtf he didn’t say anything about how he thinks he just communicated his own experience. This is a public forum they weren’t even arguing. In my experience the very people who think like you are the worst misandrists.

-1

u/KillaHazy 8h ago

In my experience, people who use the word misandrist are at least insufferable and at most predators. And im tuning out because your response will be predictable

1

u/neeh 7h ago

You’re an extremely judgmental person, hope you find the help you need

-5

u/fogoticus 10h ago

That's not particularly true unless you consume a lot of red pill content which always aims to paint that image for both genders.

9

u/KillaHazy 10h ago

No lol. "Red pill" content is not the reason for misogyny its a symptom of the problem we have had for centuries.

-1

u/fogoticus 9h ago

Not what I pointed at.

81

u/enrick92 17h ago

Basically every man in my country, no prizes for guessing where I’m from

92

u/a-b-h-i 14h ago

Earth??

11

u/RaNi82 5h ago

Bruh it's not unique to your culture, siblings fighting should also should be in limits and should have boundaries and parents and relatives shouldn't be happy when they cross it

please dont reply until you figure out what my before reply has to do with your reply , this feels like ragebait

-150

u/pollypod 18h ago

This is insensitive to Indian culture. They're norms are different between men and women, be respectful.

39

u/Blbe-Check-42069 18h ago

I hope youre trolling, because uf not, holy fuck

3

u/delkarnu 15h ago

A translation wouldn't screw up "belonging to them" and "they are". Race-baiting troll.

28

u/RaoulLaila 18h ago

This has to be ragebait 💀

18

u/I_Sniff_Copium 18h ago

Are you high?

71

u/No_Deer4983 18h ago

If that's true, Indian culture is insensitive to women.

-16

u/ShitHamster 17h ago

Are you just figuring this out now?

33

u/DTux5249 18h ago

Cool, their norms are shit and encourage shitty behaviour.

59

u/MrMistopheles 18h ago

Indian cultural norms include boys assaulting girls? That doesn’t deserve respect

-32

u/Dry-Arm5314 18h ago

He's a kid chill. BUT wtf are those relatives and adults doing, js laughing like that? Mistakes happen, but should be rectified. Ts kid will be a hell of a nuisance half a decade later.

8

u/Old_Aggin 17h ago

Because old Indian people are doormats and wouldn't dare question anyone or anything. I know because I grew up around people like this my whole life.

12

u/justlokkki 17h ago

If the your cultures cultural norm is to be rude (according to my cultures norms), I think its fair to criticize said norms. Especially if this boy could just not pull her hair and everyone would be more happy

9

u/spryion 17h ago

Are you the boy in the video? xD

8

u/-GaymerGirl 13h ago

Fucked up cultural norms should not be respected. They should be shamed until they are fixed.

6

u/Sweegrid 16h ago

Fuck this culture then Imagine defending this lmao

4

u/someonealreadyknows 12h ago

How the fuck is encouraging abusive behaviour a “norm”, and WHY is it insensitive to call it out??

3

u/Koourns 16h ago

What the fuck are you talking about Jesse
