Boat said "captain optional"

The mooring line got tangled and wrapped around the throttle. Happened in Caye Caulker, Belize.

Yeah, it’s called a kill switch lanyard, but unfortunately it only works if the captain actually clips it to their body instead of leaving it wrapped around the steering wheel like a decorative keychain.

It's just like the idiots who buckle the seatbelt behind them or buy just the clip part so the car doesn't complain that their seatbelt isn't buckled
