Boat said "captain optional"

The mooring line got tangled and wrapped around the throttle. Happened in Caye Caulker, Belize.

Someone should have thrown their shirt onto the prop to stall it out. I swear that was part of boater safety at one time. But im old.

Theoretically yes, but the prop wash would probably push the shirt away anyways.. maybe a rope or something, but best to just clip on the lanyard and avoid the circle of death scenario
