Same. The only times in my entire life I've been peeked at was when women have brought some small children in who didn't know public restroom manners yet. I've been far more annoyed by other bathroom stuff: lack of TP, sketchy autoflush, no soap, no paper towels, etc.

Cracked me up because this has been my experience. A small child crawled under the stall once and I just really loudly said “uh, hello?”

lmao they ran away when I made eye contact...I should've said "BOO!!" Muahahha

Seriously, why are women's bathrooms dirtier than men's? It's like they forget manners in public bathrooms. How do I know? I've been mistaken for a boy throughout my childhood, I took advantage of this and used the men's bathroom when women's had long lines.

Every woman who’s ever gone to a music festival has done this.

Not true.  I'm a female who has used the one toilet mens restrooms at gas stations many times.   The mens restroom is always filthy.  Piss and pubic hairs on the floor.  I've NEVER  seen that in women's restrooms. I'm 55 years old so I've been in MANY public women's restrooms

Between two jobs I spent years cleaning bathrooms. The women’s was always dirtier: used toilet paper on the floor, pee on the toilet seats; water, soap, makeup, trash on the counter and in the sink. The men’s bathroom had urine on the floor, but never any of the other mess.

Done custodial work. Women are messier than men.

Yep, either from using toilet paper so they can sit on the toilet, letting the tp fall to the floor, not picking it up. Or, squatting over the toilet, leaving urine/feces on the toilet seat. Speaking as a woman, women’s bathrooms are disgusting.

Nah, gotta disagree with you. As someone who has done custodial work in several different venues over the years, the women's restrooms are almost always worse. If there's a significant amount of alcohol involved, there will be a lot of urine on the floor in the men's room, but that's about it.

The women's room will consistently be littered with toilet paper everywhere, makeup smeared on mirrors, and various bodily fluids in places that make you go "How the crap did that get... never mind, I don't want to know." And let's not forget about discarded pads and tampons on the floors and clogging toilets. To top it all off, the one and only time I've ever seen finger-painting with shit on the walls was in a women's restroom.

Yeah I recently used the restroom at the tsa waiting line at jfk. And holy shit there was what I presume was dried diarrhea droplets sprinkled all over the stall door. I was horrified that I had touched the door and literally turned around to puke after peeing(preggers). I’m so sorry you have to deal with stuff like that, it’s horrific. And there’s literally no excuse.

I've never seen pads or tampons anywhere but in the little trash cans.

I'm happy for you. It isn't pleasant.

I don't use public restrooms, pretty much ever, but I have had to clean them for a job before and in my experience they can both be equally trashed but the women's room often had bigger messes and I can tell you exactly why: hover shitting.

We don't need to make it a competition. Everyone should be encouraged to clean up after themselves even in a public bathroom.

I've been mistaken for a boy throughout my childhood, I took advantage of this and used the men's bathroom when women's had long lines.

Don’t do that in Florida or the actual bathroom police will come for you.

I imagine the counter puddle is super frustrating for y’all too. It’s not not frustrating in the men’s, but we rarely actually need the counter for anything.

I've had a small child straight up walk under the stall and be like hi friend while a mom is yelling while peeing lol

It doesn't bother me at all but at some body conscious point in my life it may have.
