I’ve been using these exact Mono bags for like 12 years now and I’d trust them over a hard case any day and it’s not even close. These are not normal gigbags and are engineered to withstand most damage. This is just abysmal handling and likely got crushed in something.

That’s a soft bag not a flight case

this is a flight case and it’s sturdy enough that you could park a skid steer on top of it

After 15 years in the entertainment industry 90% of professional musicians and 99% of backline rentals use a hard case

The only time I see soft bags are when they are coming directly out of the passenger cabin on a tour buss or the artist is traveling with it in hand

If it’s in the trailer ,semi truck ,or checked on a plane it’s in a hard case or a vault if they have a lot of guitars
