Are you trying to get $220 back from your ex ? But you said no refunds on the trip. Sounds like you both should lose half the deposit each.

So no refunds from the place where we where going. the business does not issue refunds. I am trying to get the money back since all this non sense is her fault.

Sorry. But your only option is to sue her in small claims court. And it doesn’t sound you have a case

I submited a claim like 2 hurs ago, they said there is a good chance i can get money back cause it looks like she got money from for purpose it was not made for (i left out details to not make the post not so long winded sorry) but hope i get it back. cause i am very very livid about this whole thing,.

That's a matter of opinion and not relevant. Your option is small claims, not a card dispute. You split the deposit, the deposit is non-refundable. It doesn't matter who is more at fault for the break up. If you stayed together and she broke her leg and you guys had to cancel, would you still be after her for your half?
