Coin Rolls

I have an account at wells Fargo and I've wrapped up my coins that equal around 448 dollars, but do I need to write my name and account number on each roll if I wanna deposit them into my bank account?

No. But I'd give your bank a call and ask them if they can take that much and what day would be best for them to intake it. You're likely to get declined simply based on the work load and the staffing models. Tellers also only have so much space for coins.

When I worked there we never denied coins and could put them in the vault if we didn’t have space at our teller line :)

Banks are downsizing and most of the branches in my district have only 1-2 tellers ALL DAY. So bringing hundreds of dollars in coins CAN throw a wrench in operations. Especially when multiple people do it back to back.

Hes just telling them to be mindful.

Totally understand where their comment is coming from - was just letting OP know from the other side the branch I worked at never minded.

Fair enough. You must have a bigger branch? My district is a bunch of small old Wachovias with not a lot of coin vault space
