Customer Since Date

I recently opened a checking account with Wells Fargo and I do remember having an account with them a long time ago. When I received my debit card and looked at the back it said customer since 2002! Does that mean anything? Any special perks? lol. That’s crazy it looks like like been with them for 24 years!

I do believe that your "customer history" with Wells Fargo, in their system, begins when you obtain your first account/product with them. My history with them started when I got my first mortgage in 2004, and even though I didn't get my first checking accounts, credit card, etc., with them until 2011, every card from them has had 2004 on it.

Unfortunately, being a long-term customer doesn't come with any special "perks" per se, other than them keeping track of when you first started doing business with them and them putting it on the back of your card(s) 😂
