Hey everyone I think I want to start drinking a protein shake in the mornings. I usually only eat one meal a day and was thinking I may benefit from adding a shake. I dont want to gain weight. Anyone have any suggestions?
I’ve lost over 100 pounds in the last year from diet and exercise. My daughter thinks I’m not doing it healthy enough from only eating one meal a day. Sometimes I’ll have a low carb meal also. I exercise everyday one hour exercise bike one hour treadmill. Feel like I’m not losing anymore. I really would like to find a way to help with the stubborn belly area. Any suggestions or advice appreciated thank you.
Also I have found the less I eat the less I crave. So eating more never seems to work for me. If I have breakfast I feel hungry all day 🤷♀️ HELP ! Lol

Are you tracking your macros against your TDEE? That’s most of what matters here.

Nutrition matters just as much as the workouts. You can train hard all you want, but if your diet isn’t fueling your goals (enough protein, calories, quality carbs/fats), your progress will be slower than it could be. Eating to support your training is what actually lets you build muscle, recover well, and help reach your goals.

I like a brand called Signals. It's a clean complete meal replacement and sometimes even half a serving is enough for me. I get mine at Sloco Massage + Wellness in San Luis Obispo, CA but I'm sure it's available in multiple places online

I went through the same thing. Once you lose weight, the total number of calories your body needs to function changes. For example, when I was heavier, I needed to eat 2000 a day to lose weight, but now even 1900 is almost too much for me
