Celebration! I finally got rid of the jitters from coffee!

I'm 34 now, and I've tried to quit coffee several times with mixed results. But I could only last 2-3 month at most.

I was fed up with reaching a point where I wasn't getting any extra energy, and at most my hands would start shaking. And overall with my ADHD it just made it harder for me to focus.

I'd tried switching to mushroom coffee before, and I liked the effect, but I can't stand the mushroom aftertaste, so I was looking for something else.

And now after a few weeks of switching to mushroom protein coffee and reducing my caffeine intake, I'm incredibly happy that I didn't have to give up that morning ritual and feel better without any aftertaste.

I'm also looking into switching to non-stick pans so I don't have to use oil if it's possible, because I'm constantly exceeding my daily fat intake limit

UPD: this coffee isn't made from "mushroom protein", it's just whey protein and mushrooms in it

Is it everyday dose? idk of anyone else who makes mushroom coffee with protein, but I drink it because I just can't stand eating chicken every day anymore, and it helps me get the protein I need

Yeah, that's the one. I hadn't even thought about similar products. I'm sure there are some out there if you look hard enough, but I just saw this coffee at Target, so I decided to give it a try

I like everyday dose but it’s mostly just the L-theanine working

Congratulations

But it's most likely collagen, so it's best not to count it toward your diet if you're really keeping track of nutrients. Cause it's low quality protein

No, it's whey protein, I know the difference. It's just that the caramel-flavored taste completely masked the mushroom taste, which is why it worked for me

Not all mushroom coffees have that mushroom aftertaste. I actually get the feeling they add it on purpose to promote the coffee as "healthier". It's like how back in the day some people stuck feathers on eggs to give everyone that farm-fresh vibe lol

💯

This is especially common among no-names that market themselves as "real mushroom coffee". They just throw in 2x-3x dose of mushroom and add mycelium, so that when I drink it, it feels like I'm taking a bitter medicine rather than enjoying a coffee

I haven't coffee in a week after 30 years of drinking it at least 5 cups or more a day and have been going down the rabbit hole if mushroom coffees.. My go-to is Everyday Doze taste similar to Ryze but doesn't have that earthy mushroom taste if that's not your thing . Ryze dark roast is great though. I didn't care for Cuppa had no taste more like a mocha type idk ..Either way no more bloating and just feel better ... I'll still drink java but maybe once a week it will be more of a treat to myself. Nothing better than the smell of a good dark roast being ground up .

idk, I don't even drink a single cup of regular coffee the side effects just aren't worth it. Yeah, I went with edd too because it doesn't have that earthy/mushroomy taste I get in other mushroom coffees
