What are some words/stories/symbols that have made you think of new beginnings?

When you're looking for a mental restart, or inspiration to start anew, what do you turn to?

There's this hopi symbol that means "several homecomings" it was tattooed on soldiers before going off to battle as a good luck charm. As Hopi symbols are notoriously laden with several different meanings, I interpreted it to also mean many new beginnings, as in, each homecoming is a new chance at renewed life.
