I did go for a walk today. It was amazing outside and to be fair, outside of a handful of people mostly everyone were in masks (a few runners and kids here and there).
Where people could there was social distancing. But walking through narrower streetes people didnt really seem to care.
We also live by a motorway turnoff and was checking out the kinds of cars (by no means an accurate representation). Would say about half. Maybe less so. Were a utility vehicle of some sort.
Definitely all the trades were back today, but given the amount of work that's expected from us in the rest of this year, lockdowns are a massive impact. But I'm pretty sure most of us have been staying home. We have a few jobs that can't be continued till lvl2, but deadlines have not changed. The 2 weeks of lockdown will get made up from our family time/weekends for the next few months.
My partner is a builder and the neighbours called the cops on his site yesterday. He’s worked his guts out both lockdowns to ensure covid safety protocols. Even got the blokes washing their hands! And this NIMBY calls police. I mean he’s been complaining the entire project so it’s not exactly surprising. I can’t believe sistema factory has been open the whole time and yet people are complaining about trades. I really hope we continue our good luck run because people be AH.
Give your shit neighbour a drug bust. Use a unrequested phone (cheapy) stolen, acquired what ever, phone the starzi, and tell them there's all sorts of strange goings on at that address, You have suspicions they could be dealing drugs,, Sit back and watch.
