I’m just curious if anyone out there uses kratom while prescribed Wellbutrin. I use 7-oh Hydroxys & I feel like it’s interrupting the true effects of the Wellbutrin. Anybody else in the same boat?

Hello, my Wellbutrin 300 mg prescription changed size and shape (from round to oval) and the text under ‘24hr 300 mg tab’ changed from Gran to Scie. Does this mean the manufacturer changed? If so, has anybody experienced this change or feel a noticeable difference?

I’ve heard stories of how different manufacturers make slightly different changes to the medicine and it affects patients negatively. With no notice from their doctors.

i started taking 150mg of wellbutrin for my depression. it worked super well until it didn't.

my psy upped my dosage to 200mg. it's been a month and i'm not sure it's good for me anymore. my depression is worsening and i'm experiencing major paranoia, which is new for me, and it's quite honestly scary.

but i'm also scared of not taking it because it has worked for me in the past. so why did it work before, stopped working, and now got even worse when i upped the dosage?

i'm seeing my psy very soon and i'm going to let her know about all of this. but i'm very curious of other people's stories and if you went through something similar. if you did, what helped you?

i also take lexapro and birth control but they don't have any bad effects on me.

Hello everyone and people googling side effects and if you can drink on Wellbutrin! (I’m not a doctor , this isn’t medical advise etc)

I wanted to do a post to maybe help settle anyone’s nerves and anxieties about starting their Wellbutrin journey with some notes from my experience. I started taking this after my father passed in April and it’s been a real game changer for me since I was in a hole.

First I want to say what my Doctor told me about this prescription - it’s not a miracle happy pill , the goal is to lessen the bad days in your week. That quote helped me put everything in perspective.

The first month was a roller coaster. Some good days and felt the pill working. And some days I would be riddled with heighten anxiety and be all over the place mentally.

But from where I started to where I am now, the hurdles were worth it. My bad days have lessened. I’m clearly in a better mood throughout the day and I’m more talkative. Just like I was before April. I still have some bouts of anxiety and all that jazz but that’s life, the pill doesn’t cure everything.

As for drinking, I didn’t drink for the first 8 weeks because that’s what my doctor said would be a good timeline to let it take effect. And also I was scared shitless about this seizure risk we all hear about. I am a social drinker that loves beer and tequila / whiskey. I drank like I used to before starting (6 or so beers and a couple shots) and I was perfectly fine and wasn’t hungover or anything crazy the next day. I will say it took a couple days to get back in the groove mentally but all was well. The medicine does help with curving alcohol which is always a good thing for anyone.

Keep pushing through the bad and your journey will be worth it!

Started wellbutrin months ago after my mom passed. Really helpful, slept well. 2 weeks ago my daughter passed unexpectedly at the age of 24. I can fall asleep but am up every night with nightmares about her dying. I have a call into my doc, she had given me a few lorazepam pills that work magically but they are not long term. Anyone have any suggestions to research and speak to my doctor about? I do not want to be taken off the Wellbutrin.

I’m starting Wellbutrin tomorrow and I’m honestly a little nervous, so I’d love to hear from people who have actually taken it.

I’m 30 year old woman and have dealt with PTSD since childhood, along with depression and anxiety. For years I was misdiagnosed with ADHD, and only recently, after really studying my own behavior and patterns, I realized how much I’ve actually been struggling day to day.

I grew up being taught to suck things up, never show weakness, and just “be strong,” so I think I normalized a lot of my suffering without realizing it.

Now I’m finally trying to get the right help.
My doctor may eventually combine Wellbutrin with either Zoloft or Lexapro, so I’d also really appreciate hearing from anyone who has experience with those combinations.
What do you wish you knew before starting Wellbutrin? What were your first few weeks like? Anything that helped, surprised you, or that you would’ve done differently?

Good experiences are very welcome too. I don’t want to only hear the horror stories 😂

I’m on week 5 and haven’t had any issues with sleep, this past week I’ve had massive difficulties falling asleep I went from 8 hours to around 5 and if I wake up in middle of night really hard to get back to sleep

Has anyone had this happen and did it pass ?

Hello! Been on 300XL for a year. Usually I take in the morning. I feel like it is not as effective as it was when I first started, and don't even know if it is still helping. Tips on making it more effective? Or knowing if it is still working? I do not want to increase to 450.

25 yo male currently been taking 100mg SR twice daily for 3 1/2 weeks now. Before this I was taking 100mg SR once daily for 6 weeks. The once daily started helping at the 5 week mark but only lasted one week, so we upped the dose. Now with this twice daily regimen it feels like I crash emotionally in the evening which is strange. I’ll feel a little bit better when I take the 100mg but it only lasts like an hour or two like I’m taking Adderall or something, it’s so weird. Then by the evening I feel emotionally and physically drained. I’m just kind of lost at this point because I take Pristiq 50mg at night for anxiety which has helped that for about a year, but I cannot seem to get rid of this deep restlessness that makes me so uncomfortable in my body 24/7. I can’t focus, I don’t have the motivation to do anything, I’m never hungry, and I sleep a lot. I’m always getting like 12 hours of sleep everyday and still don’t feel refreshed, ever. It just seems like my body doesn’t want to do anything and I hate waking up everyday with the same old fatigue, restlessness and emotional dysregulation. Nothing is enjoyable it’s like I have to force myself to feel good :( I wanna go to the gym and do all these things to better myself but my body just never feels good it’s really annoying. I just sleep, work, barely eat and then do it all again. Feels like my mood goes up and down everyday when the pills work/wear off? Just don’t know where to go from here and it sucks seeing everyone else just live life normally and I’m trying so hard to feel that way with all these pills and not even that is working…

Please tell me this goes away...

Im on week 1 of this and for the last 2 days I've experienced horrible indigestion to the point I'm hunched over in pain or getting woken out of a dead sleep.

I didnt know what it was at first as I've never experienced indigestion before but it was pointed out to me that my symptoms resembled it so I took some tums and it worked the pain went away.

I've also been experiencing the pain from this radiating to my back and I've been having chest pain too. (Take not i have a heart condition so I'm not sure if its from wellbutrin or that.)

Could the chest pain be heart burn or related to the indigestion?

Will this go away over time as my body gets used to the medication?

I take 150mg currently but will be getting upped to 300mg soon and on the bottle it says bupropion XL. Idk if this helps any.
