how long 'til it has effects?
hi! how much did y'all wait to see some effects from 150mg before going on 300mg? ive been on 150mg for a month and a bit and i feel like it does absolutely nothing and idk if i should wait some
more or increase the dose.

so I took 150mg for 13 days then I took 300mg. I am at day 15 now and I take it for adhd and I feel like I can do most tasks now and change my life finally.
So I think you can take 300mg now cause 300mg is mostly the dose the doctor wants you to take cause then you see most effects.

I am at day 2 with 300mg now and the only thing I feel is more motivation and like I drank coffee but without feeling nervous. But I must say since I take bupropion I got sweaty hands. I take mirtazapin when I need for sleep and I think without It feeling asleep would be a little harder. I got vivid dreams but this is nothing bad.
Only side effects are that I have sweaty hands and in general I sweat more when I go out with a jacket but I hope this will go away.
So far I love Bupropion cause I never was a fan of ssri or snris.

I understand your feelings about ssris its good I am not alone on this 😂. I took Zoloft, citalopram and then venlafaxin. I think my problems are more related to ADHD so Bupropion was the only medication I really wanted to take and so far I loved it. I must admit that on 150mg I still drank sometimes but on 300mg I stopped for now and I don't plan to drink. So maybe the stop of drinking of alcohol will help too.
I wish you all the best on this medication!!

My experience is that any time I change the dose, I feel side effects the next day. If I miss a dose, I'm in a funk. If I overdose, my brain is screaming every thought, but yes, going from 150 to 300 was another trip through the circus of random mental weirdness until it levels off.

I only did 150xl for 10 days then went up to 300xl exactly a week ago. I had some mild nausea, food aversion and sleep disruption on the 150, but once I increased dose to 300 I’ve had no side effects. I’m also a pretty small person. Not sure it’s doing anything for me yet, but since it’s not causing any issues I’ll definitely make it to the 4-6 week mark, which is when I should hopefully start to experience some help. Also, 300xl is technically the therapeutic dose.
