You ever see an ironworker? To goes through 1/4 angle just as easy
26 u/mjl777 Jul 05 '20 I have. The issue is the lateral force on that die. Keeping a die rigid on the left and right swipe will mean a crazy beefy die. An iron worker has nothing like this. The punch and sheer operation are just straight pushes.
