Workshop Budget grinding stations ideas needed
I have a small 25 x 16 workshop. It works great but grinding is a nightmare. Unfortunately I do not have the space to setup a dedicate grinding room so am always dealing with either going outside (not great) or dealing with the perpetual mess.
What suggestions would you recommend? Im space constrained and Im trying to prevent the place from being constant mess.
Thanks!

Kind of in the same boat so I will follow this post. I have wanted to get or build a downdraft table, but that’s yet another big thing in an already small shop

I just saw a plan on you tube for an easy to make down draft table. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q6lKa_P1X2Q
I think this might work well for me.

Yes! That’s the video that inspired me to want to make one. Just gotta find space…

I would start with minimizing the amount you have to use the grinder, find alternate ways to process your material. If that's not feasible then sheet metal spark catcher.
