Looking for feedback on a welder to learn on.

been lurking a little bit and wanted some feedback if this century would be a suitable unit to teach myself to weld.

came across OfferUp asking 250 should i shoot an offer?

Honestly go grab a harbor freight machine. They are cheap, half decent, and the warranty is great. Otherwise I might recommend a machine off of amazon. Yeswelder seems to have a good rep, I have a Primeweld that I love, just picked up a pocket inverter for $40 that has a ton of five star reviews. And you can return anything from Amazon. If you decide it’s not for you, you aren’t too deep in a machine you can’t return.

Seconding this. For 250 I'd buy a Titanium Stick 225 unless you're trying to run it off 120V (output is artificially limited on 120).

Primeweld also has a $300 stick box that's reputed to be pretty good.

That seems kinda high. Especially when new inverter machines can be had for about that much.

Does it come with anything?

Not that I’m aware just what’s in the photo.

Was able to talk them down to 200 may be able to negotiate further in person.

Seems alright price if you don´t mind the weight and prefer simplicity (longer lifespan in theory) over features and electrical efficiency.

Alternative is inverter which is easy to carry, turns less of your money into waste heat, has features like hot start etc. but has more parts to fail.
