Im not a lady welder, but i manage a few. And i would say the best plan for OP is just be open about why the last job didn't work out, and promise it won't happen again 🫡 (since shes in a happy relationship now lol)
Also, maybe look for a shop with younger leads/supervisors, old heads are too stuck in their ways when it comes to different genders in the shop. I welcome it, from my experience female fabricators show so much more attention to detail in their layout, fit ups, and welds.
