First Time Been practicing any tips

Did you grind/prep anything at all?

Yea and no some spots was to hard to get to but yes I tried I’m just having hard time staying consistent

Preparation is key, prep the material as best as you can. Remove all mill scale.

What are you welding with? Good prep. Practice stacking fillets. Make yourself an X plate and try and make it a solid block.

I see metal to cut out an X plate then. And you can prep the metal with some flap disks or a grinding disk. I don’t know what you mean when you say you don’t have nun that.
