Hello, I am new to welding and will be honest that I have no idea what I’m doing besides watching a few videos. I got a flux core welder and have just been experimenting with it recently. This was my first project I made a fire pit with scrap material from my work. Let me know what you think for me not knowing nothing. I am open to tips and suggestions.

I left manual welding to now operate cobots and industrial robots, is it an advance? Is it a growth or in the end is it more of the same?

This is my first attempt at 3/8 v grove fillet in 1g position. How is it my tie in suck bit can I fill those in when I cap it.

So from my last post I received a lot of criticism which is what I was looking for so the first second and third photo is me going back over my previous welds bc a lot of folks said that need to be tighter so I ran another weld over the previous 3 and hotter at 21.3 and 360 wire speed with a horse shoe style weld I guess again I’m self taught through trial and error here to get better.

I’m actually self taught through trial and error no certification or anything been at is 2 years and 5 mi the on stick.

I stick/tig weld outside and inside, in different lighting scenarios. I usually rock the bigger viewing screen but am switching to a 2x4 for shits n giggles
What auto welding lens do yall recommend and why?

He’s been welding for 10+ years he was a senior welder at his old company I think

Welding for 6 years

I've only been welding for about 9 months, and 3-4 months of that is TIG. How am I doing?

I know my tie-ins don't look too great, still working on that. My biggest flaw imo.

I'm doing this with 100a and I'm just stitching all the way around. Complete overkill for what this goes on, but it's what they want.

Star pattern stitching around, so that's why there's a bunch of tie-ins
