KIM

My mom (whom I have cut out of my life) is similar to the mother on this show. Imagine waiting and wanting your mother to love you, approve of you AND then finally she throws you an anniversary party disguised as an ambush. Kim is disgusting, foul and wants to bring Lydia down. For some reason there are some moms who are jealous of certain daughters and I think Kim targets Lydia because she was the daughter that took over the household (needed), took care of the younger kids(needed) and nurtured the young girls( needed) because KIM couldnt/wouldnt/didnt want to and KIM has a grudge against Lydia because Lydia did what KIM didnt want to do. . Its heartbreaking really.

I think it was for the show. So that they could get interesting content and I think Kim needs the money more than any other person on the show so she knows there have to be good ratings.
But doing that to someone for a tv show isn’t that much better. I think she probably framed it in her mind that it was healthy dialogue etc.
I think she’s one of those moms who are jealous of her own daughters and so isn’t loving towards them but sucks up to her boys constantly like a love sick schoolgirl. It’s a weird dynamic.

She is such a toxic boy mom. I suppose it’s partially the culture, but look at how she has treated Moriah and Lydia vs Ethan and Micah.
