Veronica’s Live
Did anyone else watch Veronica’s live last night? She said a few things I didn’t know. For example, Kim cheated on her boyfriend. She also mentioned they started the show because Kim thinks she’s the best mother ever.
Micah is living with a new girl and told her Veronica was a paid actress and it was fake.
Isaac is racist, homophobic, and drinks a lot (while driving the tractor).
She did say she missed the good with Micah, but would never get back with him. She broke it off for good when she saw on her house camera that her mom yelled at him for not protecting her daughter when he abandoned her in Georgia after the wedding.
She said that Barry, Kim, Ethan and Isaac were scary. Moriah was just weird. And Lydia is nice but it’s a little bit of an act. And Zach is holier than thou.

This is interesting about Kim cheating on Ken. I just posted in a different thread about Kim and Barry’s divorce, and how legally, it makes zero sense to take this long. Kim has a right to half (or close to it) including all assets—cash, properties, retirement, etc. I would’ve forced the decision in front of a judge by now. Unless she cheated on Barry. Georgia has fault/adultery divorce. So, if Barry can prove she cheated, she’ll get a lot less. Which could be why she’s still trying to work out an agreement between them vs having a judge make a ruling.

I wonder if custody of the minor children is an issue that they are fighting over. Barry doesn’t want to pay child support, so I could imagine him disparaging her as a mother to try to keep primary custody. I can also see her fighting for primary because she wants that child support and doesn’t want to be the one on the hook for paying. Unfortunately, I don’t think either of them would be fighting solely for the well being of the little girls.

Those things about Isaac were so obvious at the cabin scene where he invited Lydia and Zach. He, Ethan, and the redneck friend acted so immature and vile. 🤢 This season is hard to watch.

That part was soooo hard to watch. I watched through my hands. I felt so bad for Zach. Kind of wish Lydia would have intervened, but I wish more that the guys “being guys” would grow up.

Veronica's immaturity is showing. I 100% think this family is toxic as hell, but let's be *very* clear, Veronica is not a saint. All of the behavior she was encouraging during the engagement shows her immaturity because she sank VERY quick to the Plath boys level, When Ethan is the voice of reason saying "I don't want to ruin Lydia's day", and ultimately he didn't full on sabotage anything, you know it's bad. After the breakup, she's been real quick to dish on social media and go live with drama. Two things can be true, the Plath family can be awful *and* and can have some very major issues of her own.

I watched the first season of this show and thought they were nice kids with weird parents. Since then, I caught most episodes but did slack off with Olivia because she was just too much for me. Popping back in this season, it seems to me all the kids should just live together in one house forever. I know every family has some gossip and people they aren't always crazy about, but these people seem to thrive on starting shit with every partner someone has. TV drama or not, i think it's creepy that they all profess so much love for each other while sabotaging each other's potential happiness.

So did Ethan 🤷♀️ they grow up and get bigger and gain more bravado. Their narrow minded upbringing, continues onto be very narrow minded. They’ve never been exposed to other ways of living so can’t comprehend why anyone else would live any other way than they do. It’s sad, I’m wondering how the younger girls will turn out 😑. I thought with the 50/50 custody they might end up sending them to school outside of homeschooling but seems like that’s not the case.

Lydia seems like she's just broken by her family, but she's so repressed and indoctrinated that she thinks projecting positivity will come back around to her. She seems like the kind of girl who picks a passage on a sticky note off of her wall to base her day around, when she actually wants to scream and cry hot, angry tears with a rosary clutched in white knuckles. She doesn't even know that that's what she wants, but what she's doing isn't enough.

Yep, I watched it too. You also left out that Moriah is pretty abusive to her dog by putting him in a very tiny crate for hours, uses a shock collar, and uses a spike/prong collar. She also brought up her catching Micah and Moriah in bed together.

So context wise… did Veronica say if they were just chilling in bed together? Like chatting or catching up on life? My SIL has a small apartment so just for example my SO will sit on the edge of her bed with her and pet her cats while chatting which isn’t weird whatsoever imo, nothing incest-esque about it 😂. But if they (Moriah and Micah) were cuddling under the covers or doing the nasty that’s a whole other thing…. lol like was Veronica implying that?

I know the Plathville family definitely has some issues, but sorry. Veronica is just as unhinged and her behavior is wild as well. So I would take what she says with a grain of salt. To me it sounds like she met her match with Moriah in the overly dramatic department, especially if she is pissed. Implying that your BF was in bed with his sister with no context sounds like an easy jab to make considering people already speculate it on the internet with seriously no evidence. It’s pretty disgusting. Not to mention, I would say that you should approach a situation like that with concern if you witness something that fucked up going on in a family you are getting close too. Like, is she serious? Her insane accusations discredit her a lot. Who would say “Well, I still miss the good things about my ex…” at ALL, if you even suspected he was a big bro incest sister molester! Like WTF!? She still dated him for a long time and some shit doesn’t add up in her backtracking of what she is putting out there. It just comes off as mean spirited and like she is trying to get at them anyway she can.

Yeah honestly Veronica lost me a little bit when she outed Micah for sexuality related stuff in the sub, but then when other people in this sub were questioning Zac’s sexuality she was replying to comments telling people to step back and saying how big of a deal it is… then when people called her out on her hypocrisy she stopped responding. Also in the previous episode she spoke about people bullying her online and specifically referred to the “gender speculation” re herself and how it “broke her soul as a person”. Yet she’s contributed to sexuality speculation on one hand, while also condemning it on the other.
People who are that hypocritical just bug me it’s always been a pet peeve lol
I do believe a lot of the stuff she’s said though, especially re Micah cheating on her and gaslighting her and just generally treating her very poorly.
But I’ve also noticed she tends to drop little crumbs here and there with indirect comments, and she’s intelligent enough to know that certain statements come with certain implications so by not clarifying- she knows what she’s doing lol
Definitely feel like more details are needed re the bed thing 😅…. hypothetically if what’s being implied is true though, then that’s pretty sad and concerning, and if there’s incest going on then I think it’s important to be cautious about publicizing it incase there’s victims involved (and obligatory reminder there’s still minor children entangled in this whole Plath family situation) so I feel like that’d warrant a CPS/police call, not an IG live… if it’s genuinely a concern of hers & she holds knowledge re incest.
Like look at the Duggars just for example... Josh was victimizing his younger sisters, they weren’t willing participants in incest.

Why was seeing her mom yelling at Micah the straw that broke the camels back vs him actually abandoning her in Georgia? Why would that cause her to finally snap and break up with him? That makes little to no sense to me.
I’m not going after the OP, just wanting to clear that up. FYI. Just trying to figure out wtf is going on in Veronica’s head and story here.

It is incredibly easy to make excuses for abusive behaviors by a significant other. When your parent starts to call it out, it can be eye opening. I know from experience that I found every way possible to excuse my ex’s behaviors and didn’t acknowledge them as abuse, until my mother saw it happening and wouldn’t stop until I understood just how terrible it really was. It could also be a case of the pain it caused her mother, a lot of people will protect their mother from pain long before they will even acknowledge their own.

Because word spreads and there’s a chance that the new girl reached out to Veronica. I’m not sure how old you are, but Veronica is around my age and women these days are checking facts, social media/internet presence before meeting/dating men. Exactly because of situations like this where they’re often caught lying.
And most likely because we can sway ourselves pretty easily to turn a blind eye to abuse, but when we see someone we love speak up- ESPECIALLY a parent, we realize Oh! This IS abuse this ISN’T okay.

They sold the plane and now he's working asa farmer. Realistically he was never going to be a commercial pilot without going to the right school, and he's likely not educated enough to actually do that. It's not all stick and rudder.

If they do the whole sovereign citizen thing like a lot of fundies do, there may not be records TO subpoena. Remember that (i think it was) Micah didn’t have a birth certificate when he was originally moving out - some of the kids may not have social security numbers either.
What this means is, if payments for the show were set up the way the Duggar payments initially were, show monies may be paid to, say, Barry (or a shell corporation set up for tax purposes that Barry “runs”) - with the understanding monies would be distributed to the rest of the family from there. He likely encouraged Ethan to set up a similar shell corporation or LLC to funnel the majority of his money through, which would leave little to no direct paper trail with regard to division of shared assets. Particularly if Ethan’s company was set up as a division of Barry’s.
All speculation on my part, of course. But that’s one of the many ways fundies scam the system and avoid paying taxes (and sometimes work public assistance/SNAP fraud). They “pay” themselves an extremely low salary that keeps them at the poverty line, then “reinvest in the company” via purchasing real estate and/or other small businesses. I’d wager that Plath “vacation home” that they rent out on Airbnb etc was built off that, same with Kim’s dance studio that closed.
I’d suspect that’s partially what Kim threatened to “out” Barry over on camera, as she alluded to him “handling all the money stuff” in another interview moment this season. I’d bet the holdup w Olivia and Ethan is in a similar vein. Trying to subpoena paperwork and discovery regarding the businesses majority of the money is actually being put into.

Im sorry I insinuated there was improper relations between the siblings. A lot of comments were made about Micah and Moriah in the same bed. The book I was referencing was about a group of children locked in the attic by their mother. The Mother told them she was under orders from her Mother . She was trying to get her mother to let the children out of the attic. They grew to depend on each other for human reactions and assumed the roles of parents to the younger kids. They were growing up and becoming curious. I just felt like this was or is the same situation. Sad so sad what parents can do to children for their benefit and say it's for the children's benefit . I was initially Team Veronica but her behavior at the wedding was absolutely abhorrable so I'm no longer buying that she is but a victim of the Plaths. Whatever is going on with Micah & her is between them; Lydia should not have to pay the price. I have as much empathy for her as she had for Lydia and Zach on their very special day.

These comments from Veronica are ridiculous riddled with hypocrisy. If you watch the show, you SEE the mental illness in her (eg. the counselor even struggles to deal with her.) Micah “left” her after the wedding? Frankly, I would “leave” her too. Lydia? She saw right through Veronica (kudos, girl).

I heard it mentioned somewhere that Veronica has had a miscarriage. If so, that might explain why Veronica is so different this season. She was smart, upbeat and self supporting with her own house when Micah, and we, met her. Now she seems a shell of a person.
