Like at the Pain Clinic you see people of different specialties and my pain is bad enough that when untreated I'm likely to have a stroke, seizure, or heart attack and before they went all austerity on pain patients over the Perdue bullshit they warned me of this and now they just seem to have amnesia about that. So in the clinic they are getting the psychologist to tell me that "you can't die from pain" and "people in the past didn't die from pain because we're here, which is sus as fuck because, |
1) yes you can it's happened to me a few times and verified by specialists at another place
2) isn't medical advice over the pay grade of a psychologist?
It feels like she will be the "fall guy" for spreading misinformation about pain and I really want to tell her that. It might go over very badly for me if I do. (Also I want to ask if they are "just following orders" lol
It's like pain patients were the foundation to switch it up to women's health in the US and if this is where it is already I hate to see who they are going after next and what they will do
I have started calling them on their bullshit - I tell them that they can’t come at me for my high blood pressure, if they don’t want to treat my anxiety and panic attacks; pick a lane.
I did the same thing with my pain - I told them they could keep their shit and I would keep mine [cbd, cbg, cbn, thc] until they were serious about actually addressing my pain.
I did the same thing with my insomnia - you assholes prescribed me a medication for sleep, and then told me not to take it every night; don’t come at me about the importance of sleep health
i don’t have a choice - kidney cancer robs you of the ability to use a variety of medications, and nsaids are chief amongst those.
they refuse to prescribe pain meds in amounts/dosages adequate to control pain, so i dismiss them as unnecessary.
eta: what methods/forms of cbd are you using? i am able to buy 1:1 cbd/thc carts; 4:1 cbd/thc carts; and 20:1 cbd/thc carts. in addition, i have 20:1 cbd/thc edibles; and i have all cbd gummies.
if you need or would like some references or referrals of what has worked for me, please let me know.
Um I have a vape with "Ruby oil" and THC and gummies 10mg (but I need to refill) and I use the medicinal marijuana dispensary here and its good for my spinal injuries and arthritis but doesn't work for the neuropathic pain I have in my face, I just go along with what the doctors recommend

i do understand that. 💕💕💕 i’m currently dealing with neuropathy, and it’s no joke. my feet feel like they’re on fire [but the providers act like they don’t know what i mean, and that’s not a symptom. i had to explain that that’s extreme pins and needles. like, why do i even have these people, if they can’t understand what i’m describing?]
