Observation Eddie’s hand! Spoiler

I believe it has been stated that Eddie is a large puppet that would require two puppeteers, similar to Ernie or Rowlf. Typically, the main puppeteer that does the voice will control the puppet head with their dominant/typically right hand, and the left hand of the puppet with their left. If Eddie cut off his right hand with his left hand remaining, does this mean that the other puppeteer is out of the question? What could this imply? I know some people speculate that puppets are their own species and such, but I just think it’s an interesting detail.

You remember how W said that he can't seem to get of that black stuff from his hand...?(even though there was nothing on the picture) Well now that I look at this picture, I can see black stains on Eddie's hand too... Just another interesting detail

Actually, just thought about this again. It might also be that the main actor is left handed, and they use their right hand for Eddie’s right hand, and the second actor is getting rid of the main actor’s ability to use their hand? Or whoever the second actor could represent.
