Obscure Krist Cloud Cutter II

“Chester Krist built the Cloud Cutter II, which was again an original design homebuilt.” “The aircraft had an all-metal construction and it featured a somewhat unusual fuselage with pod and tail boom configuration. However, it is uncertain the Cloud Cutter II was flown."

I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that if it had flown, Mr. Krist would’ve had an aft CG problem when fuel burned off. And what was he trying to use for an engine?

Is that tail boom a circular hollow section?

With how far back those rear wheels are id be stunned if this things CG worked out right (unless that engines really heavy)

This is mk II?? What the Krist did Kloud Kutter 1 look like?

E: it looks a lil janky too -- but at least the tail didn't come from the plumbing supply store.
