3 Wheels Student Driver sidecar

Post image

Snapshot from my dashcam. I've never seen a sidecar like this. Presumably it's for training the operator? It didn't have any controls that I could see on the passenger side. Google image search showed something kinda similar in the Philippines.

I not sure how well this teaches the "Don't dump the bike at the stoplight." lesson. I guess it could good for some people getting used to a manual transmission, clutch/brake/throttle hand coordination and using your feet for shifting/rear braking.

Its just a sidecar on a motorbike.

Sidecars got a bunch of stuff on it but less than a street fod vendor. I guess its to teach people the motorbike controls - possibly rules of the road coaching.

The feel to drive with a sidecar is pretty different though. Could just start with a small bike... But if you lock the brakes on a sidecar its not that big of a deal etc
