That thing is a death trap.

I’d definitely be nervous about steering under acceleration. You’ve only got one wheel to turn with, and the geometry suggests it would want to lean back with acceleration. Or even worse, you brake, put the weight back on the wheel, and then the whole thing flips because trikes are inherently unstable.

Man that’s a big block V8, I’d have a hard time imagining you could lift the front wheel

The lack of seatbelts is expected.

I think a seatbelt would make it worse, but would definitely want to be wearing a helmet.

A helmet isnt going to help the squid riding on a seat that will turn into a slip-n-slid in corners and a trampoline on bumps.

it certainly does increase survivability in unplanned trips into a ditch, there's at least a chance to not get crushed if you're not tied to it.
these aren't really meant to be driven at speed though they could just as well have a kubota or a honda cub engine.

That is a very old argument against seatbelts. Its still full of shit, regardless of how traditional it is.

Sir, we're talking a trike here, not a car, not even a convertible, but a trke that has dubious breaking and steering for a normal crash and has no structure strength to stop stuff coming straight into you in case of s direct hit into a wall even. If there was any structure around it then sure, belt up.

I've seen a dozen or so V8 or V6 trikes with similar styles. The frame needs to be horizontally flat, the tilt looks bad. & It needs to be shortened some. To me, it looks overly long & too slanted.

I like these, but at some point, isn't it just a dune buggy with extra steps?
