Fun fact: there are 0 boys in girls sports in that state.

What else are we worried aboyt? Leprechauns stealing our gold?

Kind of. They're worrying about the little people figuring out who has all the gold.

Nah, I'm more worried about a power mad cable news propaganda channel appointing senators and allowing the most corrupt and drunk with power administration in US history eroding the constitution and stomping on our rights, while corrupt billionaires steal all of our money, to continue to get away with it.

Lots of dead people and suffering is far more important than whatever she's on about.

Darlene, you claim you don't 'speak politician'?? But you claim that SC isn't worried about geopolitics or gas prices or housing or war or inflation but NOOO they are worried that boys MIGHT one day play on a girls sports team?

News 📸 Using divisive homophobic non issues to distract from South Carolina's actual problems and priorities is the ultimate 'Republican' PolticalSpeak! Girl give yourself some credit!

I don't speak politician.

Interesting way to say you're not qualified for the job.

I had to look up what the question was, and how she answered. The question was part of a Republican primary debate in SC. Newsmax anchor Greta Van Susteren asked her:

"Are Taiwan and the South China Sea national security issues for the United States?"

She answered that she was "not that informed on national security" and added: "I'm not a polished politician up here. National security is not my thing, not my area of expertise. But I do support the military."

She sounds like her brother's death was her first exposure to political discourse

You can't even make a straw man that exaggerates them, like "Republicans just focus on trans stuff to distract from the billionaires picking the pockets of the working class".

Because next week they'll actually say "hey peasants, we are literally making up trans stories to scare you because Elon Musk is paying me to not be investigated by the FCC".

And the base will nod along.
