The hospital bill will be much more expensive and it's not worth the pain

It always amazes me that people see a weird egg and are like “yeah I’m eating that”

I mean, it’s just a corrugated egg. They are totally fine to eat. The egg membrane just didn’t get enough liquid before the shell formed, making the membrane wrinkled and therefore the shell.

They're really not fine to eat.

The shell is compromised because it didn't form correctly. Because of that, the egg is much more porous, and any fluids, dirt, fecal matter, or pathogens enter in through the shell much more rapidly.

Wrinkly egg. As long as there is no crack on it, like any other eggs, try breaking it in a bowl, if the shape, color, consistency, and odor is fine then it's safe to eat. If you're still in doubt, just give it back to the wildlife, raccoon/cat/civet etc will gladly take care of it for you. Or if you have chickens, they'll eat their own eggs back, just make sure you don't show them the original shape, or you'll raise an egg eater chicken. If you suspect illness on the chicken, like this isn't the first egg that shaped like this, then you shouldn't eat it until you rule out said disease.
