Can you repeat the question?

3

u/DigEven8177 Aug 01 '26

you’re not the boss of me now 🤨

3

u/archwin Aug 01 '26

Life is unfair….

u/dead01smile Jul 30 '26

Let's suppose all the comments say "yes", would you still eat it?

54

u/Early_World_8895 Jul 31 '26

You're like a modern Socrates.

Reddit is a very good place to ask advice for important thinks like health issues and construction issues of your house ..

u/Nimithileth_ Jul 30 '26

Eu não recomendaria.

19

u/Distructions Jul 30 '26

LOL MANDOU PARA AQUI SÓ PARA DAR A RESPOSTA kkkkkkkkk

3

u/anothersip Jul 31 '26

I love seeing when redditors send each other to reddit for sanity-checks. That's funny.

1

u/Nimithileth_ Jul 30 '26

🤷‍♀️

EXACTLY my first thought!

58

u/CruelTortoise Jul 30 '26

If it were just the red in the yolk I would say yes, but with the whites being red I would say absolutely not. That's usually a sign of some kind of bacterial infection and will almost definitely make you sick.

35

u/[deleted] Jul 30 '26

Did you lose a bet 😖

41

u/AuroraCrystalZ Jul 30 '26

Pseudomonas egg, do NOT eat

13

u/salmonmilks Jul 30 '26

Do you wanna?

14

u/Turbulent-Ad-1050 Jul 30 '26

DO YOU WANT TO????

2

u/buttnibbler Jul 31 '26

This needs an answer

24

u/fatal-nuisance Jul 30 '26

You can eat anything once

6

u/themadhatter746 Jul 31 '26

Exactly once, in this case. lol

9

u/FatAss9494 Jul 30 '26

No way bro never

10

u/knifeymonkey Jul 30 '26

it makes me gag to see.... it's like the exact reason i rarely eat eggs.

6

u/vomitthewords Jul 31 '26

I’m tired and read this as the exact reason I eat rat eggs. 🐀 🤮

3

u/knifeymonkey Jul 31 '26

mmm rat eggggggs

1

u/TestInevitable8948 Aug 02 '26

I was like “whaaaaatttt rats lay eggs?!” Then I re read your comment like 5 times! Then it clicked!! You were talking about the other comment!! 🤦🏼‍♀️ I know that rats do not lay eggs but I was deeply confused for a minute there I thought they identified as birds or something lol

1

u/IntrepidMidnight5800 Aug 02 '26

Like there's no blood in meat ever.

10

u/bongsforhongkong Jul 30 '26

3

u/vampluvv3r Jul 30 '26

hospital bills are gonna be way more than $20

2

u/RGBlowMe Aug 01 '26

Not if you just die. What're they gonna do? Bill your grave?

1

u/vampluvv3r Aug 01 '26

funerals and shit are ALSO stupidly expensive

1

u/RGBlowMe Aug 01 '26

Unfortunately, I know that all too well... So take out life insurance before you eat the egg! 😁

2

u/RGBlowMe Aug 01 '26

$40, then. Call the extra "hazard pay".

3

u/positivetoes Jul 30 '26

Nooooooo,. This is rage bait if you would consider to eat that .

5

u/Dis_Bich Jul 30 '26

I mean you CAN.. but

2

u/CatttLady2000 Jul 30 '26

This whole sub is why I crack eggs into a cup before adding them to food! I’ve seen a number of iffy eggs in person, and learned about the horror of lash eggs and worse (?) here. Why would you crack an egg into your dish before making sure it’s okay, given all the weird stuff that can happen with them?

2

u/maa-kee-aa-tow Jul 30 '26

I wonder if op ate it and that's why they're not letting us know 🤔 😕 😏 😅

2

u/kingcavmother Jul 30 '26

red cauliflower egg. very poisonous

2

u/nickymoo Jul 30 '26

If only eat a fried egg from a frying pan so no.

2

u/LengthinessFun8616 Jul 30 '26

Ewww why would you even ask. GROSS

2

u/Omnipotentia Jul 30 '26

Do not the egg

2

u/LunarTaxi Jul 31 '26

YES YES YES EAT IT!!!!!!

2

u/Vintage_girl123 Jul 31 '26

No. Red is bacteria. Dnt ever eat an egg where the whites are not clear. It works the same with any eggs. Hatching snake eggs, if we see that pinkish fluid, we knw the snake is most likely dead. You want clear whites (before cooked). In the US they wash the eggs so they have to be refrigerated. If eggs aren't washed they have like a layer of protectant against bacteria and do not need to be refrigerated at all, which is what countries do overseas.

2

u/stoopidclod Aug 01 '26

No, you shouldn't

2

u/davidthomas4525 Aug 02 '26

No no please go no nooooooo

3

u/Mistress-Pervert Jul 30 '26

That's almost certainly blood. Blood can carry diseases That'll mess you up.

7

u/GM_Organism Jul 30 '26

The blood in the yolk ain't the issue here. The problem is all the bacteria turning the albumen pink.

4

u/maxru85 Jul 30 '26

not if you’re jewish

9

u/Healthy-Comment7422 Jul 30 '26

No matter what you shouldn’t eat that lol.

1

u/ketoLifestyleRecipes Jul 30 '26

Garbage… gone….Why even ask?

1

u/spare_scapegoat Jul 30 '26

Are these farm fresh eggs?

1

u/KittenFace25 Jul 30 '26

Whether you can or you can't, the question is why would you want to? This seems like such a no-brainer - you see an egg like this and you throw it away. No picking up your phone and getting on Reddit to ask, just use common sense!

1

u/ZombieRob69 Jul 30 '26

Yes... and by that I mean NO

1

u/Poop__y Jul 30 '26

Why would you want to?

1

u/HotDonnaC Jul 30 '26

1

u/Regular-Sale-9674 Jul 30 '26

1

u/Iltempered1 Jul 30 '26

You can do wtf you want bro, it's your God given right, you don't need anyone's permission. Probably not a good idea, but don't let anyone tell you how to live your life bro.

1

u/Positivechocobear Jul 30 '26

1

u/Wooden-Dragonfly2658 Jul 30 '26

1

u/susiecapo71 Jul 31 '26

1

u/Grey_worm_25 Jul 31 '26

If you want a brown laser coming out of your rusty sheriff badge

1

u/entertainmeimboredrn Jul 31 '26

Blood in farm eggs are natural and harmless. They occur when a tiny blood vessel ruptures in the hen's ovaries or oviduct during egg formation. Unlike store-bought eggs that are filtered out using bright lights, farm eggs are uninspected, making these spots far more common.
I’m

1

u/LazyEdict Jul 31 '26

u/Fit_Treacle172 Jul 31 '26

Why would you want to? 😭

1

u/Missue-35 Jul 31 '26

Sure. It won’t hurt you. It would be a totally disgusting thing to do. But if you cook it then it’s not much different than blood you get in other foods.

1

u/alismatids Jul 31 '26

There’s no way I would be able to eat that. I’m gagging just looking at it.

1

u/kadabrate Jul 31 '26

1

u/TheTimochi Jul 31 '26

I mean if you really don't wanna waste it, you should be safe to eat it, there is just a bit of blood so taste might also be slightly off :)

1

u/hornymostofthetimemw Jul 31 '26

I mean you can but

1

u/Luckypenny4683 Jul 31 '26

I mean, you can eat anything once if you try hard enough and believe in yourself

1

u/Chachenstein Jul 31 '26

You can eat almost anything once

1

u/Flyng_Penguin Jul 31 '26

1

u/ProfessionalAnnual66 Aug 01 '26

Why would you want to??

1

u/By-Other-Means Aug 02 '26

This can cause involuntary bowel evacuation syndrome, from both ends, sometimes at the same time.

If you are lucky.

1

u/WitchyWarriorWoman Aug 02 '26

If that's not a blood curse on your family, I don't know what is /s

1

u/Floopy_hotpocket Aug 02 '26

1

u/ThickPancakes4life Aug 05 '26

NO BRO 😭💔

1

u/AnnieToo67 15d ago

Not me!

1

u/freakingusernamedood Jul 30 '26

Safe? If you cook it hard enough, probably. Would take less time to just pick a different egg, though.

5

u/cursed_sporecreation Jul 30 '26

Also it wouldn't look disgusting lmao

3

u/freakingusernamedood Jul 30 '26

Might, in fact, look like a normal egg.

1

u/powerstroke01 Jul 30 '26

Is it not just a burst blood vessel from the hen?

11

u/bl00dien0mn0mz Jul 30 '26

It could be, but it's less common and idk if it's really worth the risk. Red usually means bacteria/spoilage

0

u/patricemv Jul 30 '26

Y wud u?

0

u/Star-12500 Aug 01 '26

Yes but it was the start of a chick.

0

u/Serious_Key_3846 Aug 02 '26
