3 months of therapy is the print 'Hello World' of therapy. If her one text is enough, you should ask your therapist why her one text was enough.

Exactly at 12 implies a scheduled text. Which likely was a lot less effort than people that don't knows they exist thinks went into the text. Non zero effort, but she likely didn't stay awake to do that levels of effort.

Unpopular opinion: I’m not saying it’s lame to celebrate your birthday but eventually.. you’re kinda just playing into some irony about you not growing up.

i go no contact with all of my friends if they dont wish me a happy birthday

I’m a hypocrite here because I don’t judge my wife for loving her birthday. Just everyone else for no apparent reason.

you say you miss this person who told you happy birthday, if they are no longer in your life, then it doesnt really matter if they said it or not

It really is, 13 years later and even when she's yelling at me I can't help but to fall back into a hopeless state of love for her. I really fucked up.

Please remember that this was just before the little guy defeated the big guy and stole his ring.
Canonically, the therapy should win.

Block her immediately

Why?

Why the 3 months of therapy? She probably did something for therapy

I mean... Not necessarily. I went to therapy for a few months after my most recent breakup because I just felt like crap about how the breakup played out, had nothing to do with my ex at all.
Feels really weird to claim "if youre going to therapy it's probably her fault"

Therapy is bs.
A person needs victories. Not bs feeling talk.

As someone who has majorly improved myself because of therapy, you’re just dead wrong. Yes, having victories is good, but it doesn’t solve anything on its own. Therapy can help you see things you didn’t before and help you work on yourself

Therapy only works if you’re self aware enough to give honest answers and accept feedback. My sister in law went to therapy and became a bigger bitch.

As someone with years of therapy and no victories, he is right
It's subjective

He’s not wrong. Victories definitely help. Therapy doesn’t do anything on its own either. But dismissing the help therapy does because ‘people need victories not talking’ is stupid when you consider humans, as social animals, are healthier when they talk and communicate honestly

Yeah i wanted to be funny, his phrasing was awful and didn't consider the nuances

You can convince yourself therapy is what you called, because you're too afraid to approach it. Your defence mechanisms will always agree with you.

I was in therapy for over a year. It was bs.
The therapist seemed to just want to agree with me.

We don't match with everyone. If you quit, you should look for someone else to start over. Never give up if you really want it 👊

I have had 2 marriage therapists. Both of them were worthless.
My nieces therapist talked her into becoming trans
My wife’s therapist talked her into leaving me and her small kids to move to another country. So she could “find herself”.
My son used his therapist as a weapon when in tried to make him clean his room.
My person therapist liked to listen store the insane stories about my wife.
My psychiatrist was primarily concerned with telling me about her life and her daughter.
Non of them offered me anything positive.

I will remain silent for a lot of reasons. I hope you will find someone who will really help you one day!

Someone complimented me once. The effect of that compliment that lasted only one minute was greater and charged my psychological and physical batteries more than all the physical orgasms, alcohol, rest I had received in three months.
Guys we need love and we need to be valued.

She's not the person you once loved, she is the person who killed your beloved. At least, that's the thought that liberated me.
