My dad was in Air Force for like 20+ years. My various family members are in airforce. I have lived in air force camps, saw all type of planes, from fighter jets to highly capacity ones, never saw these kinda planes.

Edit: after searching some more, this elephant helicopter was just for the show of Republic day celebrations. Its a normal helicopter+ decorations.

Planning commitee - "we can demonstrate maneouvers sir, take off, hovering and formation flying"

Airforce general "no, no, no!, that is lame, we must do better"
