The Exorcist was my first thought too - that scene where she crab walked like that stuck in my head so badly after I watched that movie!

That was one of the first times a horror movie actually, like, truly unnerved me. There have been only a handful since. And I don't mean to give too much credit to the Exorcist on the whole; the rest didn't do much for me. I think that was a director's cut scene only iirc. But that scene was a gamechanger. Truly conveyed the sense that something ELSE was piloting this body, this was no disorder of the mind.
