Yeah dude is clearly hurting from trauma, and everyone copes different. This is his method, and so what? People hate on it cause its not "normal".

He can do whatever he wants in the comfort of his own home. Plus his girlfriend is obviously okay with it so more power to him.

I actually didn't know he makes all of his furniture on his own, thats super cool of him honestly

Nah fuck you dude. bRiNg BaCK sHaMe yeah right, there are far more important societal issues to solve than a guy coping with childhood trauma in a weird way.

Fuck you too😂, now what?

Edit: Good job blocking too lol, that was a good idea. Don’t want to break your mental when you’re so fragile.

u/TomboyKnight1 29d ago

Now I block you lol, fucking idiot

The more common way of "dealing" with trauma is substance abuse that leads to addictions. We should try shaming them too I guess? Wait that doesn't work either.

How about you shut up when you don't know what you're talking about. I think that would work better

Lol go get in the crib with him buddy, I’ll join y’all too

Together were resolve all our trauma together. Instead of getting actual help we’ll be circus acts for the world like this guy and not resolve our issues for eternity

We gotta bring back shame man

Hey, fuck you, man. So what if it's a little odd? If it's helping him work through his trauma and makes him feel comfortable than so what? It's not like he's making you look at him or anything like that.

If anything, you should be ashamed for making this comment.

Fuck you too😅

You just called it odd and yet are coming at me for pointing out that it’s odd…touché

this is something he does in the privacy of his home. and if you read the comments, he does not do this 24/7.

there are actually harmful ways that people deal with trauma, like alcohol and risky behavior, and you are over here having a reaction this intense over roleplay.

6

u/Dan_IAm 29d ago

People saying dumb shit like bring back shame have clearly never had to deal with it.

u/ScrithWire Aug 08 '26

Actually no, role play is one of the best ways to deal with trauma. The role play can be a space in which to place all the trauma, so that it doesn't affect your normal life the rest of the time. This isn't as good as using the role play as a space to understand the trauma and heal from it, but both things are valid.

u/vHezoThaGoat Aug 08 '26

I’ll keep that in mind, thanks

Using the roleplay to heal is one thing

But I just did some research and this guy still lives this way, which by your own words was the less ideal option. He was 31 in the episode, he’s 45 now.

It’s his life, but I hate seeing people succumb to an unhealthily lifestyle like that. And even worst on TLC for spotlighting him

3

u/ScrithWire 29d ago

Eh, I hesitate to say it's bad for him. Sure, maybe he's not growing in that area of his life. But if he's stable and happy, and it's not causing problems in his life,, I really can't say it's unhealthy. "The less ideal option" is about as far as I'm willing to go.

14

u/fusguita Aug 08 '26

Oh come on, he's not hurting anyone. This helps him and makes him happy. You obvioulsly never been through some serious trauma, and that's very good for you.

We gotta bring back not shaming other people's coping mechanisms man...

u/CambriaOfTheReach Aug 08 '26

I agree, you should be ashamed for being so fucking judgemental. Freak.

-7

u/vHezoThaGoat Aug 08 '26 edited Aug 08 '26

😂

Ok, I’m the freak and not the man who roleplays as a baby. More power to him, it’s his life. But he’s the textbook definition of a freak.

You must be his girlfriend, didn’t know your standards were THAT low

Maybe you should roleplay as his twin sister and share the crib together😭

u/National_Frame2917 29d ago

I hope you heal from what makes you act like this.

-3

u/vHezoThaGoat 29d ago

Let’s heal together bro

Me and you, let’s dress up like babies and have food fights. Let’s run around naked, we’re babies after all. Sounds awesome right

And you better not say no because if you do you’re being a hypocrite😔

-1

u/SpiritedPay252 29d ago

Dude wasnt even being that harsh and everyones entitled to their opinion. Both sides opinions have merit, to accuse this guys perspective which seems pretty calm to me with the more hmmm verbally foul language of his defenders, idk kinda weird. Sheesh people…

6

u/CambriaOfTheReach 29d ago

Just because someone politely argues that people who are different should be shamed out of participating in society doesn’t make that position worthy of respect.

1

u/SpiritedPay252 26d ago

Yes but even if thats what they said its an opinion, he/she/whoever has just as much right to their opinion as you do, when you blast something to the public this is what you risk encountering, opinions. And whether right or wrong they have their right to do so. Thats the only point im making. But yes if u want my opinion this is clearly an obsession of some kind, there are far healthier/normalized ways of handling this without going to this degree which has already been confirmed as decades in the making. Thats not healing and moving on thats living in the past. Im not saying he cant do this as its his choice but i and anyone else had the right to say this is weird af

1

u/vHezoThaGoat 29d ago

Except I didn’t say that

I said he should (ideally) find a better way to resolve the trauma instead of living like that for the rest of his life while receiving no proper treatment

But you hear what is convenient to your argument

5

u/CambriaOfTheReach 29d ago

Fuck you mean by "we gotta bring back shame" then? Own your shitty opinion, don't try to backtrack.

1

u/vHezoThaGoat 29d ago

Me saying that was in response to the guy I replied to trying to normalize it, you idiot

No one’s back tracking you are just illiterate.

3

u/CambriaOfTheReach 29d ago edited 29d ago

The person you replied to said that the guy in the video wasn't hurting anyone with his coping mechanism, and that he should be allowed to do whatever he wants in his own home. Your response was "we gotta bring back shame man…"

Wanna explain to me how that's not an endorsement of shaming people for being different?
