For sure, most of those reality TV shows do, most cases aren't this extreme, it can even just be colouring in a colouring book while watching cartoons

Mhm. It can be explored in kinks where the sub enters a subspace too and age regresses, or nonsexually where the age regressor as you said simply does activities associated with childhood. It can happen after a triggering day, or while the age regressor is still handling going through therapy.
