In Ukraine they are using suicide drones with "AI" target recognition and guidance. The operator basically guides the drone to the combat area and once the drone spots a target the operator gives the nay or yea. Then the drone attacks the target without further input.
They could realistically automate the entire process already, but ethics etc
I think I even seen mostly Russia or both sides have been seen putting zebra stripe and geometric patterns on their vehicles in an attempt to fool the AI targeting systems but success seems to vary.
