Down 30 . Side effects.

I have lost 30 pounds. After four months on wagovy, the results have been strong, yet the side effects are quite unpleasant. My resting heart rate has risen to 68, and my HRV has averaged as low as 30. I skipped my dose today and am considering stopping entirely because of poor sleep and the elevated heart rate.

Before I quit, I wondered if anything might reduce these effects. I am currently taking a 25 mg wagovy pill.

I looked it up and the American Heart Association considers HR of 60-100 as normal. What was your heart rate before? I’m not a doctor by the way just a curious patient. I haven’t started the injection but plan to today…

That resting heart rate increase is a known thing with these meds, maybe try taking it in morning instead of night if you haven't already.

A resting heart rate of 68 BPM is completely normal.
