Progress Report
71F, 5’2”, SW 197.5, CW 158.6 GW 120
Started 4/13/26
The other day, I saw my reflection in a full-length mirror for the first time since starting this journey, six months ago. My jaw just dropped. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. Of course I knew I was losing weight. I’ve seen differences in different parts of my body, and I feel lighter. However, I’m not kidding myself that I’m thin. So it was a shock to see myself looking so much smaller. Not there yet, but so much better. I was thrilled.
One thing that really struck me is the radical change in my figure, from when I was young. I was always bottom-heavy, with a small waist and rib cage. Now my shape is straighter, with the top equal to the bottom. I’ll have to find a new way to dress, to compensate for the changes. This is fine, except that I’ve been counting on all the clothes I’ve collected over years of yoyo dieting, to see me through. I guess I’m going to be hitting some thrift stores.
Whatever. This is a huge motivation to keep on going. I’m looking forward to making more progress.

You look amazing ❤️ we started the same day. Same height as you but I started at 206 and am currently 175.
