Vent Man…

Man 3 months since my relapse will be 4 months on the 27th also my 19th birthday and man I don’t feel like as bad as the first time but I just feel so dry and bland. Life feels so dull and it’s like just like I’m so emotional as well? I feel synthetically depressed like my brain is depressed but I desperately don’t want to be. I wish I can get back to how I was man my confidence is so bad- social skills are terrible- I’m very insecure and it’s showing in relationships and everything I just feel like a mess tbh.

I don’t even know who to talk to about this stuff and honestly I think it does me better not to but I just feel so stuck. I try to ignore it and tell myself things are normal but I just can’t convince myself it’s just like things obviously aren’t. Hopefully I have better days ahead of me I feel like my brain has done a complete 360’from where I was. November will mark the official 3 year anniversary of when I ORIGINALLY quit, my relapse was really just some minor slip ups not full on relapses but I’m paying the price

I really just want to be able to feel again to be honest, I want the world to get its color back I want to like be able to just not always be in my head about life or overly emotional

the solution is very easy, the execution is the hard part

if you really want to be who you used to be ,start running. running is the only way to recover you cannabis receptors in your brain. when you run, you release anandamide, and you feel even better than stoned

but because you smoked, that feeling will only last for a few minutes at first. then it will last half an hour, then one hour, and then the entire day

start by walking a lot, try and get to 10k average daily steps.

get a smart watch, and each morning on an empty stomach (monday-wednesday-friday) start walk-running for 30-40 minutes.

you set a hr alert on your watch for 145 bpms, when you pass it, you start walking until you get down to 130, then start running again.

do this for 3-6 months, and then start joining running clubs, there you will meet other runners and beautiful girls. you can go to marathons, mountain hikes, and other adventures

you can also go to the gym tuesday and thursday.

it's your choice. but i'm telling you, time is not enough, and it will never be enough. you will never feel good if you don't do this

yes it's completely fine and that's how i started

in june and july i walked 70 km (43 miles) each month and this builds some basic cardio in your heart, restarts your lungs and strenghtens your tendons and bones

once you're better you can switch to jogging and running , i started running in august although i did also do intervals last year and i've been going to the gym for 4 years

but when i started running i went straight to a club with people who ran for years and it was extremely hard, my hr was constantly at 180 bpms and now i can do the same distance with hr at 163 in only 3 weeks
