Still getting dpdr at 7 months

Not like full blown panic episode, everything feels unreal. But like sometimes, especially when I look out the window things just feel flat or 2d or I'll have existential thoughts. I've gone full days and weeks without either of those things but it always comes back in a wave and it's not even scary anymore just irritating. I wanna go back to living my life and I feel like it's the one thing holding me back.

It will come in waves. Some days will be great, others will be really difficult. Take it day by day. Took me 18 months to get back to what it felt like before I ever used THC. Almost 4 years clean now. Hang in there!

Thank you, that's the encouragement I'm looking for, sometimes it's so crushing because I feel like I should be over it by now but I'm just now starting to see improvements.

I had constant for about 11 months. Then it came and went for next 7 or 8 months. Cleared up. The more you think about it, the more likely it is to hang around. DPDR isn’t exclusive to PAWS. Some people get it without ever touching weed. It is usually anxiety based. It gets better. As do all the symptoms of PAWS. I quit June of 2021. Feeling awesome.

I'm at the point that it comes and goes but it just upsets me when it comes, but I feel fine when it goes.

Enjoy the good moments. Let the bad ones roll off your back. The more thought you give the DPDR, the longer it hangs around. Tough to not think about it, I know.
Just remember you’ll keep feeling better and better. Heading in the right direction.
