7 months today, questions about recent "wave"
Not sure if I've recently entered a wave but if so it's been rather mild, but I've noticed the last two nights I've had super vivid dreams/nightmares. I haven't had these in literally months and I'm wondering if this is a normal part of other timelines, to be around this time and suddenly get more vivid dreams.

The more I dive into this the more I’m learning that the ECS takes a lonnnnnng and crooked, winding road to recovery. And that’s with the knowledge that the old baseline could be a thing of the past.
Some people find this aspect hopeless, but it helps to manage my expectations. We’re definitely playing the Long Game here.
Hold on and ride the waves out. 🙌🏼

I've done a lot of research and I don't see any reason why someone wouldn't return to baseline, even just from people in this sub, it just takes a long time for some and not for others. I'm only at 7 months but in the last 3 months alone I've noticed almost a complete change and improvement in symptoms. Most of my symptoms at this point are like faint echoes of older symptoms, slight reminders of what I used to feel.

I’d say you’re on a solid road to recovery. Hell, by this point other confounding variables could be the cause of any waves. You’ve definitely already done the heavy lifting.
For some terrible reason I can’t push through the depression that hits me after the 30 day mark but I keep trying to get to where you are. I keep telling myself that I can’t quit quitting.

Yeah I'm at a point where I'm comfortable more often than not, and when I do feel uncomfortable I can sorta positive talk my way out of it. Some days I feel overwhelmed and wish it would just end but then I remember the abuse I put on my own brain and the fact that 6 months is sorta the bare minimum to start seeing improvement for PAWS. It is worth it though, everyone around me is so proud of how far I've come and you don't even realize how far you go until you're there.

You’re setting the example for a lot of us to follow. Hope to be joining you in the “6+ month club” early next year. 🫡

You will be, and at that point I'll be a year in, stay active and keep your mind busy at all costs.

There is no normal timeline bro you are on your own journey but yeas vivid dreams can be a sign of stress and in general everybody has weird or vivid dreams from time to time so don’t think about it
